‘White Collar’ season 5, episode 3 preview: Matt Bomer, Mark Sheppard, one elaborate heist
Let’s start this “White Collar” preview off with a question: How in the world does Mark Sheppard get the opportunity to be a part of this much awesomeness on a regular basis? The man is already a part of a show in “Supernatural” that is a personal favorite, and he also happens to be a man who is getting to be in the thick of a great story arc on “White Collar” season 5, reprising his old role as the Dutchman.
But what exactly is he up to? Well, let’s just say that on next week’s episode, he and Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) are going to try and collaborate for one of the biggest heists that has been executed to date. As a fan of this sort of thing, can we accent just how excited that we are here? It’s going to be in a museum, and as the promo below teases, it is also the sort of thing that is either going to make Neal a success in his new circumstances, or cause him to fall apart entirely. For his sake, let’s hope for the former.
As for some of what else is going to be transpiring soon on the show, Peter is starting to get used to his new position, so we better hope that there is nothing coming up that is going to snatch this away from him. By far, we’re going to be seeing Tim DeKay’s character go through more this season than any other. It’s going to be a heck of a thrill ride, and one that will hopefully have us hooked every step of the way.

The White Collar Pilot with Mark Sheppard as the Dutchman is my favorite single TV show of all time. I am very excited about this episode because I actually got to watch a day of the filming and to meet the actors and crew. All are great guys, friendly and personable. While I’ve adored Matt Bomer since Traveler, my daughter really fell for Mark Sheppard upon meeting him. I don’t think we can go wrong with the 2 of them together in anything. I love seeing Neal be mischievous, but hope he doesn’t go too bad or dark. White Collar is fun and I like it that way.
