‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Stephen Amell tees up situation for ‘Broken Dolls’
So now, the police are going to be all over Oliver inside of Laurel’s office, and there really does not appear to be any way out of this one. The only hope we see of him surviving is if some sort of power away from him comes into play, and Felicity manages to short-circuit the building.
For the time being, the man behind the hero (and the man behind the hood) is staying coy. Speaking to E! News, master of all things awesome and new father Stephen Amell had the following tease to give:
“People are asking me to lower my bow, and that’s how we pick up episode three. And that’s what I do, I lower my bow, and I’m not the Arrow. And it’s not good. I’m in big trouble.”
The best-case scenario for Oliver during this scene is that he is able to get away with his identity intact; however, there are all sorts of worst-case scenarios. He could be unmasked, or joining Moira in prison. Regardless of what his ultimate fate here is, we will at least give some credit to the writers for setting up a pretty epic cliffhanger. Typically when you have a show that is airing during the season, you don’t get an opportunity to see really anything quite like this in between an ordinary episode.
