ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6: Spend a day with Nathan Fillion, and consequently make world jealous

More of the latest -Who doesn’t love Nathan Fillion? He’s Captain Reynolds, Richard Castle, all-around good guy, and someone who always plays video games and is a Comic-Con staple. Basically, if you’re a geek to the same level that we are he has to be on your list of favorite actor-people out there. (Here’s to trying to coin actor-people as an actual term.)

Since not all of us have an ability to be an actor, a director, or someone with the courage to make YouTube videos trying to get Fillion to show up to random events, here is a different opportunity to try to spend a little bit of time with the man. Fillion is auctioning off now on CharityBuzz the opportunity to spend a day with him on the “Castle” set. This includes a chance to see him in his element, and be a part of the mad-cap, crazy experience that comes with TV production. It’s a unique world, and even if you have seen other movies or shows being filmed before, every one of them has their own quirks and there own little reasons that makes it special. The auction runs until October 24 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time, so you still have an opportunity to pool your money at the work or find a very rich person to befriend.

The proceeds for the auction go to Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund, a cool organization designed to take care of and provide support for musicians who are struggling to make ends meet and are battling poverty or health-related issues. So while bidding on the prize may take quite a bit of cash, just know that all of it is going to a great cause that can always use it.

“Castle” has been shooting season 6 for a while now, and is airing the fifth episode next week in “Time Will Tell.” This looks to be a particularly fun episode (especially since “Chuck’s” Joshua Gomez is guest-starring as a man who believes he can travel through time), and it’s almost a shame that you cannot invent a time machine to go back and watch this one being filmed. However, you can at least click here if you’re interested in checking out a preview video.

If you want to read all of the details surrounding the auction and the information you need to know before bidding, just head on over to their official site.

Update: The auction has now closed, earlier than the anticipated date.
