‘Survivor: Blood vs. Water’ preview: Are the family members finally going to win? (video)
Maybe it’s the lack of experience, or maybe it is the simple fact that for whatever reason, the pieces are just not falling into place for the tribe of family members on “Survivor: Blood vs. Water.” Regardless of the reason, there is one thing that they have not had the opportunity to taste since first entering the game this season: Victory. Is that going to change on Wednesday night’s new episode? All we can say (at least for now) is that Tadhana is off to a lead! Then again, they’ve had the lead before, and we know how that turned out.
The video below provides a sneak peek at the challenge this week, which features the remaining castaways taking part in what may very well be the world’s most awesome slip-and-slide. Caleb Bankston and Gervase Peterson took part in a slide / ring-toss, and Colton Cumbie’s fiance finished it so quickly that Gervase didn’t even have the time to start celebrating. Of course, this is only one ring, and this is going to be a long challenge.
As for why CBS keeps releasing peeks of their challenges every week, well there’s not much else they can share that are not spoilers, especially since Redemption Island impacts both tribes this year. You may at least get one answer to what happens there this week if you look closely enough, but it’s not any sort of spoiler as to who goes home. Luckily, that remains safe until tomorrow night.
The rest of this week should go as usual here: We’ll have our reaction to the episode tomorrow night, an interview with the eliminated castaway on Thursday, Friday we’ll have a preview for next week, and then on Saturday we’ll be back to break down some of the finer components of the episode piece by piece. After Sunday off, we’ll get back into the same exact routine again next week.
