‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6, episode 6 preview: Charlie Hunnam, ‘Salvage,’ and a different table

Take a look -One of the pressures that has been laid at the feet of Jax Teller over the past two seasons of “Sons of Anarchy” is what comes with being at the head of the famed SAMCRO’s table. There are responsibilities to the club, and to every member in it. We could go through the duties, but it’s a rather long list, so the major question that is worth asking instead is what happens when there is no longer a literal table to preside over?

At the end of “The Mad King,” there was literally one of the more explosive endings (literally) in the history of the show as the clubhouse was sent up in flames in a surefire sign that SAMCRO are not always the smartest guys in the room. The Irish got the best of them, and now, the consequence is that they have to find a new way to conduct some of their meetings.

But luckily, that apparently did not take too much effort for the club to figure out. The major message the we take from the photo above is merely perseverance. Is it really that smart for this club to be together and fighting back? Probably not, given that they are just putting their lives on the line again, and at this point with very little reward or glory for it. But they’re a family, and for some of them, this community is all they got. So to continue to see them fighting together is hardly much of a surprise at all.

Jax -Most of the guys do also still know that they can hide behind Jax, at least for a little while longer. He has to lead the charge to figure out the club’s next move. Right now, the only thing that he can actually call a win is simply that everyone in SAMCRO made it out of the explosion alive. They’re more at risk now that they are on the road, but they’re at least still breathing. We’ll see if that lasts for the entirety of them by the time the end credits for “Salvage” roll.

As for right now, we’re just glad to be talking about the show again as Hunnam spent all weekend at the center of talk surrounding his exit from “Fifty Shades of Grey.” We will have some more on the new episode Tuesday soon, so be sure to check back.
