Before you take a look at what the groups are going to be doing on tonight’s new episode of “The X Factor,” why not watch the latest highlight from a trio of guys who made it very far on the show this past season? Emblem3 made it all the way to the top 4 last year, and they and Fifth Harmony have quickly become the biggest acts to ever come out of the show. While in the past being placed into a group may have been a cause for concern, it’s not exactly true anymore. Instead, what we have this time is really a case of getting into a group is a blessing, since it’s something that Simon Cowell can take ownership of and have a bit of pride over.
Well, Emblem3 is one of the few groups formed on the show on any version that has become a big success, and their music video for their new single “3000 Miles” feels almost exactly like what you would expect: A road ballad that is all about the difficulties of being in a different place every night, while the people you love are back at home living their lives and making memories.
This is a subject that has been tackled many a time before in song, but it is probably overlooked by most fans. While no artist is ever going to complain about the opportunities and the money that comes from touring, this is clearly one of the biggest setbacks; while most can work from one place with only occasional travel, you really can’t when you are in a group since touring is part of your job. Emblem3 has been especially busy on the touring front this year, having performed a number of shows recently with Selena Gomez.
