‘Criminal Minds’ season 9, episode 3 preview: Preview ‘Final Shot’ with Eva LaRue scene
Tonight, “Criminal Minds” will be back on CBS with an episode that appeals to more than just people who love mysteries; it’s also going to be appealing to those who love both American history and also the occasional conspiracy. The episode is entitled “Final Shot,” and it will revolve around a murder in Dallas similar in some ways the John F. Kennedy Assassination, which is nearing its 50th anniversary.
From the pure perspective of putting something on the air that coincides with a moment in history, we would understand anyone who was to criticize the show for being advantageous; then again, we are talking about an event that is five decades old, and they are not saying anything negative about that particular moment or trying to throw any conspiracy theories out there.
The real notable moment in the preview below is the arrival of “CSI: Miami” alum Eva LaRue, who is going to be teaming up with some members of the BAU to help solve the case. It’s her presence in the scene that we find ironic, given that you also see some people within the clip sporting some very familiar CSI vests. While these are people that would be at the crime scene, it’s still a little entertaining and we’re sure that the producers knew exactly what they were doing with this.
The 200th episode of the show is not too far away, so if for whatever reason you don’t like the idea behind this case or the video below, don’t worry: There is going to be something interesting soon that also gives you some insight into one of your favorite characters.
What do you think about the idea for this episode, and are you stoked to see LaRue on the show again? Be sure to share your thoughts below! Meanwhile, click here if you’re curious to see another preview that takes a look at a broader sequence of events.
