‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey go at it in 200th episode

The 200th episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” is just around the corner, and with this in mind, it’s fair to say that we are looking at a story that is far and away different than what we are used to seeing. For one, the hour is not going to be all about the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital for a change. Don’t worry: The hospital will still be involved in some other ways. The difference here is that it’s really not going to be the only thing going on.

In the video, for example, Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are really going to have some time to spend with the other doctors! The two have been on leave ever since having their second child, and this is going to serve as an opportunity to spend some time with some other adults who aren’t named Callie for a change.

So what’s the issue here? Since being cooped up together, the two characters have basically become all sorts of competitive with each other. This has led to a series of frequent and at-times hilarious battles, including the one that you see below. They are trying to raise money for the hospital with this gala, and who knew that Derek had so many talents that he could show off?

Given that this is the 200th episode, though, you can surely expect this to end with a little something less than just a stream of happy-go-lucky moments. Chief Webber in particular has a difficult and emotional story that will be taking place back at the hospital, and this could be the hour where we really see if he continues to have the will to live.
