‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 3 video: Raj introduces his latest scheme

Raj -On tonight’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” we will have a perfect example of a geek tradition courtesy of something that is done at major universities all over America: Scavenger hunts. It’s a very simple premise, but given how these sort of things can evolve and spiral, this could actually make for one of the best episodes of the show that there has been in a long time.

In the video below, you can see that it is Raj who actually comes up with the concept of having the scavenger hunt, where the characters all roam around town in hopes of finding what they need to be declared the winner. This is mostly just an exposition scene, given that it is mostly constituted of just some assorted jokes about people going through something like this while in their student years … and Amy having no real friends at all for the time she was at Harvard.

We suppose that the overall way in which we will determine the quality of this episode is based on a simple question: Will the show deliver the payoff that comes with such a high-risk idea? It’s a little more unpredictable than most of what they put on the screen, and it also does not appear like there is going to be another plot to fall back on. Regardless, there is probably one thing that the show can still rely on: Millions of people will watch, and they will also come back the very next week regardless of whether or not the episode is good.

In case you missed the breaking “Big Bang Theory” news from yesterday, did you know that Bill Nye is going to be joining Bob Newhart as an upcoming guest star? You can find out some more on the subject here, and check back tonight for our full review of the episode.
