‘Criminal Minds’ season 9, episode 2 preview: Thomas Gibson and the power of twins
Will twin psychopaths seek each other out? This is something that Hotch is going to try and figure out in the new sneak peek below from Wednesday night’s “Criminal Minds” episode.
In it, the major thing that we learn more so than anything else is that CBS is stingy with their previews for this show. Really, with just 27 seconds? While this may be better than nothing, it’s hardly anything to hang your hat on. Thanks to the length of it, it is also not something that really provides much in the way of insight into the story that is coming up ahead.
What we will see for the episode on Wednesday mainly is a continuation first and foremost of everything that has been presented so far. This includes getting an opportunity to see the case resolved, and for Thomas Gibson’s character to get a better sense of the duties he is being forced to take on right now. At least the good news for him is that this will not be permanent; someone will be taking on at least a good percentage of the commanding gig of the BAU soon enough, and this shall in turn allow him a certain amount of freedom elsewhere.
As for always with “Criminal Minds,” the most important thing is that we feel like we’ve felt something at the end of a case, whether it is sympathy for the lost, or relief that the right people were brought to justice.
