ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Army Wives’ veteran in as…
How is this for some mysterious, “Scandal“-ous casting? The ABC series is going to be premiering a week from Thursday, but we still do not know that much about what is going to happen for Olivia Pope & Associates. Now, you can add the latest guest casting to the list of mysteries.
According to TVLine, former “Army Wives” actress Sally Prestman has signed on to appear in multiple episodes of the Shonda Rhimes’ series third season, but this is literally everything that is known about the part right now. Clearly, the intention here is to say very little, and have it be a big surprise when she does eventually turn up.
With all of this being said, we have a hard time really imagining that almost any story right now related to the show is going to eclipse some of the burning questions that fans have already. For example, just what are we going to see take place for Olivia Pope now that her secret is out? Most of this episode is going to be all about getting answers to that very important question. The same goes for what her relationship with her father Rowan is really like, and why has this history been so hidden over the course of the past two seasons. Is it just because there has not been enough time, or because there are some other priorities that needed to be dealt with? Time will tell very soon, and we cannot wait to see.
What do you think about this “Scandal” casting? Be sure to share what you think below! Meanwhile, head over here if you are curious to check out some of the official details for “It’s Handled,” the premiere episode that should at least resolve some of the burning questions that you have.
