‘Criminal Minds’ season 9 spoilers: ‘The Good Wife’ actor heads to another CBS show
Mike Colter apparently is rather fond of working within the CBS family. The actor already plays the part of Leonard Bishop on “The Good Wife,” and now he is crossing over to another hit show in “Criminal Minds” for the episode entitled “Final Shot,” which is going to air next month.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, his role in this episode will specifically be that of Colin Bell, a fearless man who tries his best to protect the target of a sniper by putting his own life on the line. While there always are constant twists and turns when it comes to this show, at the moment it is pretty easy to call the man a hero. As we discussed previously, this episode revolves around some deadly actions in Dallas, which leads to the BAU starting to wonder whether or not someone is trying to recreate the Kennedy assassination on its 50th anniversary.
Just within the first three episodes alone, “Criminal Minds” is doing just about everything that it can in an effort to lay some pretty important cards on the table. The show first and foremost is going to be taking on a deadly story about family in the first two episodes, and from there they will transfer into this, which is an installment that a certain number of history buffs out there may appreciate. We are now mere days away from the September 25 premiere, and there could be even more intriguing events that occur before we arrive at that point.
What do you think about the casting, and is an episode themed around Kennedy exciting to you at all? In case you are curious, this is the episode that also features another alum from a CBS series in “CSI: Miami’s” Eva LaRue in a role.
