ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 1 preview: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion’s new way of working

Before we say anything else about the sneak peek below from Monday night’s “Castle” season 6 premiere, let’s start by issuing a massive spoiler alert: The following at least gives away whether or not Beckett is going to be working with Washington DC in some shape or form.

Ready to move on? Well, in the video below Stana Katic’s character and Lisa Edelstein’s McCord introduce themselves as “federal agents” while investigating a case. This at least means that Beckett is trying out the job for a little while, since she’s got no reason to lie while working on the crime scene. This is probably also something that you assumed to a certain degree, given the fact that the two ladies are wearing the same exact badge in the sneak peek that has been out there for all to see over the past several weeks.

So what makes this video so interesting? It all comes down to the very end of it, where you see Castle in a gold cart, clearly doing some investigating of his own.

As for the question of the engagement, Beckett’s not exactly seen wearing a ring in the video … but don’t take too much from that. She could be wearing it around her neck, or she may not want to flaunt it around while on the job in case something ends up happening to it. We’re just saying that you cannot assume anything one way or another just from watching this video.
