‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Raj and the great scavenger hunt

Ready for some fun courtesy of “The Big Bang Theory” season 7? What we have for you with this story is very simple and effective: It’s not relationship scoop, Johnny Galecki aboard a boat, or talk about salary negotiations. It is simply a tale of a man and his love of scavenger hunts. Specifically, this man is none other than Raj, and it is the focus of the third episode that will be airing on Thursday, October 7 at the standard 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.

This episode is appropriately titled “The Scavenger Vortex,” and save for the official synopsis released by CBS, not much is really known about this just yet:

“When the entire gang competes in a scavenger hunt designed by Raj, it brings out the best – and worst – in everyone.”

What we will say here is that this idea overall simply sounds hysterical, given that it combines something that is very geeky in scavenger hunts with characters known to have a pretty quick temper. The best episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” are the ones when many forces tend to collide like swords in a swashbuckling pirate adventure, and this appears to very much fit the bill at the moment. If you just add to that the tiny little morsel of goodness known as Raj now being able to speak to women, it is made all of the sweeter since he’s potentially going to drive everyone else up the wall. (Yes, we are probably looking forward to that more so than anything else.)
