TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: Major female character being cast

If you love TNT’s “Dallas,” then you may be pleased to know that the start of the new season is coming up in the new year, and that filming will be starting up early next month.

With that, now comes the rush to get all of the new characters on the show cast. One of them, according to TVLine, is a major female role that will be around for much of season 3 named Heather. Freckles are apparently a must, and she is described as a tomboy ranch-hand who has some sort of “history” making terrible decisions in regards to men. Basically, she like bad boys. Do you think that there are some of those around Southfork? You better believe it.

While much of the story for the new season is still under wraps, the castings that have come out so far all suggest that yet again, the show is putting a focus on some of their youngest stars. With Larry Hagman’s death, after all, the entire dynamics of the show are going to change somewhat. The older cast members will of course be greatly involved, but their dynamic could shift now that J.R. and his story are more out of the picture.

“Dallas” needs to do something to shake things up a little bit just to get some more viewers taking a look at what the show has to offer. The ratings, even with all the headlines, were barely enough to get the show renewed for a third season. For a season 4 to even be possible, there will be a need to shake things up.
