ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6: Lisa Edelstein on working with Stana Katic, full experience
Based on what we are hearing now about Lisa Edelstein’s experience on “Castle” season 6, it is pretty easy to figure out one thing: The actress is enjoying her time filming scenes with Stana Katic. What we know about her role right now is that she helps to determine whether or not Kate Beckett wants to work in Washington DC, and given that she appears in more than one episode, it is at least easy to figure out that this decision is going to take more than just an episode to figure out.
The proof about Edelstein’s relationship with Katic comes via the actress’ own comments to TVLine, where she explained why she wanted to stop by another long-running show after a stop on “The Good Wife” and many years as Cuddy on “House”:
“I really didn’t want to do an arc on a show without really investing as much as I could in it, so I walked onto that show with a lot of ideas and wanting to create a real character — and Stana was psyched about that. Those things can go many different directions (laughs), so I was really happy that she was so gracious.”
Based on the photo above, you can assume that the two characters are definitely going to have their hands full while working together, as they struggle to try and figure out how to solve some new cases. This will be a different sort of dynamic than what Kate had with Richard Castle; after all, he was probably as far from by-the-book as you can get (which is slightly ironic given his profession producing books).
