‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Catch a brief glimpse at Brennan’s wedding dress

Just in case you really cannot wait until the “Bones” wedding episode airs on Fox later this fall, we have what is a rather nice treat for you tonight: A glimpse at the bride wearing what appears to be a white dress. Who convinced Brennan to do this? It looks like this unconventional couple is going to at least in some ways have a conventional wedding.

Of course, we say “in some ways” for a reason. As the image from David Boreanaz’s WhoSay account clearly shows, these two are using skeletal figures as their cake toppers. If that is not both cute and disturbing at the same time, we don’t know what is. The show is clearly giving us plenty of reasons as fans to look forward to this, especially since we know what will be coming up before this episode even airs: A chance for Booth to really try and make amends with Brennan over the secret that he has been forced to keep from her.

This event will be one of the biggest in the history of the show, and the major surprise here is simply that it will not be airing on its now-familiar Monday timeslot. Instead, the show will be shifting over to the dangerous position known as Fridays, where it will air this November alongside back-to-back episodes of “Raising Hope,” a show that is more or less being buried at this point, though it is at least being kept around until syndication.
