‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Andy Herren (possibly) fired; plus Britney Haynes

Britney -We want to start this “Big Brother 15” update by focusing a little bit on something that we first heard about this weekend, and that is a tragedy related to Britney Haynes’ personal life. Her two-month old daughter Tilly, who was actually a theme for a competition involving the baby mobiles this year, has been diagnosed with cancer, and it’s such an unspeakably sad thing for anyone to go through.

We debated for a while whether or not this was a subject we wanted to talk about here, mostly because it is such a serious and personal thing and the internet can at times be a cruel place, especially given all of the nastiness that has gone on in talking about the show this summer. However, what we have seen over the weekend is another reminder of all of the goodness that exists out there from many “Big Brother” fans, and ultimately all want to do is show her the same amount of love, encouragement and support that she has given to all of us over the years.

In moving on to the cast of “Big Brother 15”, not only are the houseguests on the show right now still asleep, but they have actually made it a goal to sleep until 2. So basically, these people are spending half of their day in bed right now, acting like big cats at tiny exhibits at the zoo. Then again, we suppose this really is what they are, since they cannot really understand what is happening in the world around them.

One thing that has possibly happened here is Andy not being employed as his university anymore. In a statement on Facebook, the College of DuPage actually tried to make it appear as though Andy was not an active employee in the first place, and then distanced themselves from him even further:

“Andy Herren has formerly worked for College of DuPage as a part-time instructor. He does not currently work for the College. Any behavior or language he uses on the CBS reality show ‘Big Brother’ does not represent the opinions or values of College of DuPage.”

So should we add this to the tally of the people being fired from their jobs? We’re going to, at least since it’s pretty clear from this that the college has no intention of ever having him back. While he has not been racist or homophobic, he has still said some horrible things. Would they be viewed as bad if some of the other comments were not said this year? Possibly, but the reaction this season has turned into a domino effect.

This brings our tally of fired houseguests up another notch. No one in the final three is going back to a job, and of the final seven, Elissa and Judd are actually the only ones we could guarantee employment for. There have been rumors about Amanda being fired, but it seems more like she just doesn’t have a broker that she is selling with right now. Meanwhile, is McCrae’s pizza shop really going to want him back? It seems like a distraction when they want those pizzas out quickly.
