‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: The big sleep, and why ‘Big Brother 16’ should be all-stars
Let’s start this “Big Brother 15” update with what is barely an update at all: Sleeping. Crickets. Someone waking up and going to the bathroom. Unless you want a GinaMarie cleaning update from 1:00 a.m. Pacific, these are the only highlights of the day. The houseguests have literally spent the past 12 or so hours in bed, which is mostly just further evidence that this house is beyond boring at this point in the game. These people are tired of each other, and they’re tired of being paranoid.
With all of this being said, the moment that one of these people wakes up, don’t be surprised if the other two do, as well. There is going to be a major push to not leave any pair alone until Wednesday night, that way there is no time for them to strategize. We already saw some of that last night, with Diary Room visits being the only action so far.
The future
Since this is not anything particularly interesting, we want to talk for at least a few minutes now about the upcoming “Big Brother 16,” and what should be done with it. Casting director Robyn Kass has already said on Twitter that an application will be up soon, but we wouldn’t take that as a guarantee that there will be all-newbies or even newbies at all next year. The show may just want to do due diligence and see what is out there.
We do think that CBS loves a “Fans vs. Favorites” idea (or one like seasons 13-14), since you can bring back old players while still introducing new stars. However, we do think that next summer is the time for a full-fledged all-stars. There has only been one season out of 16 so far with this twist, and it would not feel like overkill. There are some great people out there who have not played again, and even someone like Daniele Donato deserves another chance to play where she can start and finish without her dad around. Plus, you need to refocus now on what is important in the game for viewers, and that is fun, smart gameplay. These people will all be smart enough, especially after this year, to be perfectly cognizant of what they are seeing / talking about on the feeds. We don’t know if a random model whose brother filled out their application would be the same way.
