‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Damian Lewis stars in new clip designed to connect dots

When “Homeland” season 3 premieres, you are going to have to wait a full two weeks before you actually have an opportunity to see Damian Lewis’ character of Nicholas Brody in action. From there, you’re still going to have to wait a full two weeks before you actually see just where the accused terrorist is hiding.

So what happens in between where we see Brody at the end of season 2, and where he ends up being in his first appearance here? Perhaps the video attached here will help to fill in some of the tracks. Personally, we do find this video to be curious for a number of reasons, especially when it comes to geography. When we last saw Brody, he was fleeing north into Canada; and yet, he is now in a tropic locale that is presumably somewhere in Latin America. Our guess? He boarded a trade ship in a city like Halifax somehow, and then found his way down there.

It’s possible that Brody could still be in such a place when “Homeland” returns, but for the sake of the story and his own character’s history, we imagine that it would also be so much more intriguing for many if he finds his way to get back into the Middle East. This is where his journey on the show really all began, and it is where both Carrie and Saul are looking now to stop some other problems and threats to the nation.
