‘Breaking Bad’ season 5, episode 14 preview: ‘Ozymandias,’ and Skyler on the run?

To this point, there has hardly been much information made available about Sunday night’s “Breaking Bad” episode. AMC, likely knowing that any information they give out will spoil what happens to Hank, Gomez, and Jesse, has not released any video footage. However, we are at least lucky enough now to chat about some of the photos that they have put out in promotion of the hour.

We begin here with a look at Anna Gunn’s Skyler White, who clearly has the look as though she has gone through some pretty horrible times as of late. Does she know yet about Walt and the shootout? The reason that we believe that she does is that she clearly looks to be preparing to go on the run with her daughter, and has the look of a woman with a sense of urgency.

Meanwhile, Walt is clearly still alive and free, but this is hardly a spoiler given everything that we saw in the flash-forward. He is seen here on the phone with someone (possibly Skyler), and is roaming around at night. There must not be too great of a manhunt out there for him yet, given that he is clearly in a populated area standing outside. If he was the most-wanted man in Albuquerque all of a sudden, would he really be so stupid as to do that? Given that he is somewhat of an arrogant man, we suppose that it is at least possible.

All we can promise for now is that this will be a watershed episode in the history of the show, and what we see unfold here will likely have ramifications that last in our mind until the show’s closing seconds.
