‘New Girl’ season 3 premiere video: Winston is clearly a very good friend

While you may be waiting for another week or so to really be at the point where you can preview new shows airing on other networks, Fox is doing you quite a favor now in giving you access to some footage for most of their shows premiering Monday night.

Here, what we have for you is the sneak peek below from “All In,” the premiere episode of “New Girl” airing on Tuesday night. While the major story of the episode is Nick and Jess embarking on some sort of “romantic getaway” to Mexico, Schmidt seems to be doing something almost to divert Cece’s attention away from herself and onto … Winston? It’s somewhat strange, and apparently he is one of the nicest wingmen of all time to go along with this.

In the video, Schmidt tells Hannah Simone’s character that Winston asked for her underwear, and he goes along with it by saying one of the creepiest / most hilarious things ever. Cece then gets melodramatic / upset, and then storms out of the place. This makes us really believe a couple of things here.

1. Cece does not genuinely think that Winston would do something like this, right?

2. Who wears leather underpants on a regular basis?

3. How is Winston going to get Schmidt back for having to do this? You know that he is going to find a way.

Above all else, we’re just happy that this video serves as yet another reminder that “New Girl” is back and as funny as ever. There’s no reason to be concerned about a letdown in the near future.
