‘Suits’ season 3 summer finale spoilers: Big decision coming for Rachel, Mike

With the “Suits” summer finale coming on Wednesday night, there are of course many questions worth asking. Is the firm, for one, finally going to stabilize after all of the post-merger drama? Is Harvey going to be able to protect Ava and save her from a terrible stretch of time behind bars? While Mike and Rachel’s relationship may not hold the same ramifications for as many people, it certainly matters to them … especially when we are talking about law school and something that could pull them away from each other for a pretty long span of time.

While Meghan Markle is of course not giving too much away about this story just yet, she did tease the following to E! News about how big of a change that we are looking at here for her if she decides to go:

“I will say that Rachel’s decision for law school changes the game tremendously for Rachel and certainly for Mike.”

If the two are forced to spend a ton of time apart, it does very well change everything for the second half of the season, which will premiere on USA early next year. Mike will find himself at work without someone who was a longtime ally, and Rachel will be isolated potentially from everyone that she has come to know. The one advantage? That she will be able to eventually rise to the same level as some of them, and do what she has long been hoping to.
