‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 video: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus talk changes, excitement

Andrew Lincoln -“This is ‘The Walking Dead.’ Things are only going to get worse. Just wait.”

These words are echoed at the start of the latest video for the hit AMC show courtesy of executive producer Robert Kirkman, who continues to give all of us even more reasons to be spontaneously excited and afraid about what is going to be coming up on the show down the road. There is more violence coming in the new season, and you see some of that below. However, the reasons to be afraid this time around extend beyond the norm. There will be a new, surprising threat that comes within the prison walls, and some of the characters will struggle as they start to figure out what they are going to do about it.

Many others also speak out on the story, including showrunner Scott M. Gimple’s promise to push all of these characters to see what they are really made of. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus (whose character of Daryl Dixon rocks an amazing crossbow) also are on hand to tease a few individual moments, with the former discussing just how challenging a season this will be for Rick Grimes in particular. While on the surface he is going to be hoping to leave behind the role of leader, there are going to be circumstances that continue to make that difficult for him to do.

Overall what is your take on this video, and is there one particular change for the show that you are hoping to see more so than any other? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below! Meanwhile, click here if you want to see another new teaser that puts Reedus almost front and center.
