Before ‘Mistresses’ finale airs, Alyssa Milano makes ‘tape,’ joins ‘Project Runway All-Stars’

Monday night marks the end for Alyssa Milano’s current stint on TV in “Mistresses,” and while you are waiting to find out what happens there (or to see if the show ends up getting renewed for a second season), we have some more scoop when it comes to some other things that the actress is up to.

First of all, the news is in that Milano is going to be serving as the new host for “Project Runway All-Stars” which will feature all sorts of returning designers in an effort to show that they still have what it takes to make it work. Personally, what we find the most interesting about this news is simply that this show really has quite a revolving-door mentality going right now when it comes to their hosting position. Are they just looking for the right fit? We are assuming it to be so, mostly because it makes so much more sense to just find a host and then stick with them. (We should also note now here that Marie Claire’s Zanna Roberts Rassi is replacing Joanna Coles as a judge.

In a very different note, Milano just revealed a brand-new Funny or Die video that is basically her version of a certain lewd tape, the kind of which that made Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton famous so many years ago. Of course, the real difference here is that her “tape” is really just a ruse in order to convince people to find out more about Syria, as the camera pans away to a news report about the nation’s troubles. Of course, we could ask how watching the news on a sad event in history would get people in the mood, but we presume that this is probably not the point of this video in the first place.
