‘Parks and Recreation’ season 6 spoilers: First look at one-hour ‘London’ premiere
“Parks and Recreation” is getting set to premiere on September 26 with an epic hour of television, and the story of these two episodes is going to be all about one thing: London. This is the setting of what should be both an exciting episode, where we see Leslie Knope taking off to a new setting, dealing with new people, and trying to figure out even better as to how to be a leader.
Want to see some more news from this episode? Then just take a look at the full synopsis courtesy of NBC, which also teases some events that we first saw take place during last season’s finale:
“Leslie (Amy Poehler) wins an award from an international Women in Government organization, and travels to London with Ben (Adam Scott), Andy (Chris Pratt), April (Aubrey Plaza) and Ron (Nick Offerman) to accept it. Tom (Aziz Ansari) hunts down the mysterious businessman who is trying to put Rent-a-Swag out of business, while Ann (Rashida Jones) and Chris (Rob Lowe) settle into the next phase of their relationship.”
Of course, what is particularly interesting about the last detail that is mentioned here is what it could lead to: The eventual departure of both Lowe and Jones from the show around the midway point of the season. This is something that is going to be very emotional for Leslie, who has to try and figure out following this how she is going to move forward without someone who has been her best friend and confidante.
