‘The Good Wife’ season 5 spoilers: How will Alicia and Cary’s new firm start up?

The latest -

One of the larger themes for “The Good Wife” season 5 is going to be change, and you will see that pretty much no matter where you look. For example, Peter is in a much more powerful position in office, and Alicis and Cary have left Lockhart Gardner in an effort to start a new firm. So while many of their former colleagues will have to become accustomed to starting up a new business without them, they are going to have the challenge of going it alone and starting out from scratch.

Even though Alicia’s husband may be a man in a powerful position, executive producer Robert King tells TVLine that you really should not expect to see Alicia to be ordained with a great office or something that is completely perfect early on this season:

“We want to suggest more of a start-up quality to it … Lockhart Gardner has a very polished look. [Florrick, Agos and Assoc] may not be up to the financial standards of Lockhart Gardner’s architecture.”

Personally, we are all for seeing this play out just from the standpoint of it allowing us to see a slightly different visual aesthetic on the show, and how Alicia works within a different situation. Do we imagine her firm finding success? Definitely, and that is due to the pedigree of the people employed there. It would just be a mistake to expect that this success is going to be handed to them on a silver platter.

Do you think that Alicia and her team are going to find some success in this field? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts below!
