‘Elementary’ season 2 spoilers: Check out the lengthy new teaser!

Are you ready to see more of Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson’s latest adventures? Then we have some great news coming your way: A lengthy new trailer for “Elementary” season 2.

Let’s start off here with what is yet again some rather frustrating news: For whatever reason, CBS is being very cagey when it actually comes to giving us some new footage to sink our teeth into. Why is that? The most-likely reason seems to just be that they want to leave something open for a surprise, or a promotional campaign down the road more closely geared towards what is going to be happening in London come Thursday, September 26.

Now that we’ve got this complaint out of the way, this promo is a nice little showcase for a whole heap of fantastic moments for Holmes and Watson, whether it is her putting her own skills on showcase to him cracking cases and proving to have a razor-sharp sense of humor that comes out from time to time. There’s really no mention of any other characters, which is a pretty good sign as to what CBS really wants to focus on for the time being.

Before you go, we will drop a little “Elementary” goodness your way. Expect Sherlock’s brother Mycroft to play an integral role in the early part of this season, while you are also better off not expecting an appearance at all courtesy of Irene Adler. Natalie Dormer won’t be surfacing on the show again for a little while, thanks mostly to story and a very busy schedule.
