FX’s ‘The Bridge’ episode 9 preview: First look at ‘The Beetle’
On Wednesday night, “The Bridge” will be back with yet another new episode; and hopefully, we are going to have something in the way of intelligent answers to go with that when it comes to the questions that we have.
For one example of this, we’re hoping / pleading that there is something much more to the case of these killings than just some man who is going after Marco out of bitterness for what he did with his wife just before she died. Why commit so many murders for something that is so personal? While we do sense a pattern, at least in that some of the people dying are corrupt employees, we do not necessarily think that Marco is a terrible detective who does a bad job with what he does. He’s just a cheat, which is deplorable in its own right but separate from his work.
As we start to figure out some more about Marco’s past, hopefully this case will start to become a little bit more clear. Given that there are still multiple installments ahead, we imagine that nothing is so simple or completely mapped out yet. We know that it is easy to compare this show to “The Killing,” but what this reveal could be a case of is thinking that you have most of this figured out, only to have a twist come into play that blows the entire thing completely out of the water.
Overall, is there anything that you are hoping to see on this episode? If you want to read some more news related to “The Bridge,” including some more episode reviews and the like, just be sure to visit the link here.
