‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Meet Hoji Fortuna, latest reported addition to cast

Game of Thrones -The “Game of Thrones” cast just continues to expand, though the good news about this little nugget of information is that we actually have someone who is joining the show, and not taking on a role previously occupied by another actor.

This time around, Shadow and Act is reporting that Angolan actor Hoji Fortuna has signed up for some sort of part on the HBO mega-hit, though no one for the time being is spilling any details about what the role is. There is little chance that you would have heard of almost any of the parts that Fortuna has played over the last several years, but he did at least appear in one episode of ABC’s short-lived “Pan Am” (which we will contend was canceled far too soon given the size of its fan following). He only moved to New York City a handful of years ago to better pursue acting there.

Winter Is Coming claims that Fortuna’s scenes will be shot in Croatia, which instantly means to us that he is likely King’s Landing bound. Most of the interior scenes are shot in Northern Ireland, and he was not involved in any of the Iceland filming that took place earlier in the summer. While this would also make it seem like he does not have a role in a Daenerys storyline, it may be better to withhold ultimate judgment for a time given that “Game of Thrones” could choose to move around stories from a book into a different part of the show.

Earlier in this article, we alluded to the surprising number of people that have been recasted lately; while Daario is the most-popular character to undergo a makeover between seasons, the likes of Tommen and the Mountain have also been plugged in with new actors, with the reasons being more than likely due to creative changes and scheduling.

The new season of “Game of Thrones” premieres on HBO in the spring.
