‘Criminal Minds’ season 9: A serious look at premiere; a funny shot of AJ Cook

For this “Criminal Minds” season 9 article, we’re focusing on a little bit of everything, whether you are talking about something that is pretty serious, or something that is worth smiling and having a laugh over.

We begin here with the photo to the left of this article, which is one of the first released from the two-hour season premiere airing on Wednesday, September 25 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. While there is not a lot that is given away here save for a massive manhunt for a suspect, you can at least take this photo as a little bit of assurance that there really is not going to be any sort of backing down when it comes to action at the start of the season. These episodes are going to begin going 120 miles an hour, and there is going to be no effort whatsoever to slow them down later. Why would you?

In case you missed it previously, the following serves as the official short synopsis for the two-hour premiere:

“The hunt for a ritualistic killer targeting women takes the BAU to Arizona to search for an increasingly devolving UnSub.”

As for something a little bit more comedic, you don’t have to look any further than this image to the left tweeted by series star AJ Cook, along with the caption that her foam finger is “fall’s hottest accessory.” In case you have somehow been able to steer clear of MTV for the past week or so, this is an obvious and pretty-funny reference to that grotesque foam finger that Miley Cyrus was bandying about at the VMAs to the disdain of most of America.
