‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 17: Cheryl Burke, Val Cherkovskiy confirmed to appear

While the following news may not be particularly surprising at all, it is still nice to get confirmation on it: Cheryl Burke and Val Chmerkovskiy are going to be back for the 17th season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

When it comes to Cheryl, this helps her continue her streak along with Tony Dovolani as the two longest-tenured pro dancers still a part of the show. Val, meanwhile, has become a staple in recent years, and has also come pretty close to winning both with Kelly Monaco and Zendaya. Unfortunately, and much like his famous brother Maksim (who may or may not be a part of this season), he has been so close to winning that Mirrorball Trophy, but yet so far.

In the two videos below (via the show’s official page on Instagram), you can see both Cheryl and Val tease who they are going to be paired with on the upcoming season. Unfortunately, it’s hard to really pick up much in the way of scoop from either one of them.

1. When it comes to Cheryl, the biggest thing worth noting is only that the man she is with seems to be of around average height … which really only eliminates people who are somewhat out of the ordinary.

2. Meanwhile, you can hear the voice of whoever Val is dancing with in his clip, but unfortunately, we cannot tell who it is. It’s also possible in some sadistic way that this person is purposefully masking their voice, that way to make it all the more difficult to figure out who he is working with. The best guest we have is Elizabeth Berkley based on the curly hair, but it is definitely not Snooki.
