‘Person of Interest’ season 3: Drama, new allies teased in new promo
For “Person of Interest” moving forward, there are going to be quite a few challenges that the show ends up facing. From the ratings standpoint, for example, we have the shift over to Tuesday nights. The show was already performing very well on Thursdays, but obviously the hope here is that it can shore up a slot after “NCIS: Los Angeles” that it should be able to win easily, and one that CBS has struggled with in the past with shows like “Golden Boy” and “Vegas” falling out of favor very quickly.
Will this work? While we’re skeptical about it retaining the same demo numbers it did after “Two and a Half Men,” we still expect it to perform very well moving into this new season.
As for what we expect to see from a vantage point of story, the first promo teases just about everything that you would expect, like the Machine going missing to some of the enemies and allies that Reese and Finch are going to be running into the rest of the way here. Expect larger roles for both Sarah Shahi and Amy Acker this year, but also still very much of what you loved about this show in the first place: The procedural formula mixed somewhat with a dystopian world. We’ve always enjoyed the show, mostly because of the slight shift that it puts on tradition for the network.
Overall, what is your take on this “Person of Interest” preview? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below! If you do want to read some more news when it comes to the CBS hit, just be sure to check out the story over at the link here. We’ll have more in the way of news very soon.

I really like Person of Interest & since I like both NCIS & NCIS Los Angeles it should be a good night for tv. I am also though one of the few that also liked Golden Boy & Vegas.
