‘New Girl’ season 3 spoilers: Official details about ‘All In’ premiere

On Tuesday, September 17 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, “New Girl” is going to be back on Fox with an episode entitled “all in,” which is really just referring to one simple thing: Nick and Jess actually deciding to commit to some sort of relationship, even if they both do still have some reservations about it at the same time. We’ve been waiting to see them really be together along for a good year now, and their adventures in the season premiere are going to lead them to the beach … in Mexico.

Want to know some more official details straight from Fox? Then just take a look at the full synopsis below, and it includes other key moments for Schmidt, and of course Winston being sadly relegated to something silly while most of the other characters steal the limelight:

“Picking up immediately after the events of the Season Two finale (Cece’s cancelled wedding), Nick and Jess decide to go “all in” on their romantic relationship – which leads them to run away to a Mexican beach town. But when Nick runs into trouble with the authorities, it’s Schmidt and Winston to the (possible) rescue, which may land Nick into even deeper trouble. Meanwhile, Schmidt makes a decision regarding Cece and Elizabeth (guest star Merritt Wever), and Winston becomes obsessed with completing a puzzle.”

We want to see Schmidt actually pick Elizabeth, which is something that we weren’t sure we would say when the character first surfaced. (Merritt Wever is just that fantastic, but she’s unfortunately also a series regular over on “Nurse Jackie.”)

“New Girl” has also already released an official video featuring Zooey Deschanel talking a little bit about some of the stories ahead this year, and you can check that out over here. We have a feeling it will definitely be worth your time.
