‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: A look ahead into episode 10, ‘Goodbye, Miami’
For any “Dexter” fan, the next week and a half is going to feel pretty painful. Thanks to Labor Day Weekend coming in and mucking things up, you’re forced to wait a little while longer than usual in order to check out the next new episode. Also there are only three left in the entire series.
When the show does return on Sunday, September 8, it will at least be doing so with one entitled “Goodbye, Miami” that has a more-than-ominous feel to it. Just look at the name itself. The official description courtesy of Showtime also does not give you much of a reason to be hopeful; while it does appear to be pretty cut-and-dry that we are going to end up seeing Dexter survive the hour, the same cannot be said for everyone else that he spends time with:
“Dexter enlists Dr. Vogel’s help to lure the Brain Surgeon to a location in order to get him on the table. Later, an important person in Dexter’s life is murdered before his eyes.”
Obviously, the choices here for who this person could be are very simple. Harrison would be the most disturbing, while Deb would produce an intense amount of anger given that she really should stick around until the finale to make everything feel right in the “Dexter” universe. Dr. Vogel has to be a possibility, but we also would not rule out Jamie given her connection to Dexter’s family, or even someone like Batista who has been a loyal member of the force alongside him since the start of the show.
If you do want to read some more news about who the first person to die is not going to be, just read some news here from the series finale.

Deb still dies too. I researched it and now am cursed knowing this information so I spread it like a virus. Deb dies after Vogel and sadly Dexter will have to dispose of her body.. Oh spoiler alert.

Thank you so much. Honestly. I don’t mean this with malice. You’ve taken me out of my misery. I can’t stand watching this show anymore. I just want someone to spoil me the ending already.

Harrison will survive, the actor who plays him is left handed. More than likely Matthews will adopt him and teach him the code in a spin-off called “Sinister”.
