‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ review: Melissa Gorga and trouble all around
While you could say that the focal point of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (at least from the perspective of drama) is Teresa Giudice, this episode featured her more as a player in yet another saga courtesy of Melissa Gorga’s personal life.
Basically, the way in which things started up this time around was based entirely on some more rumors that came up from (you guessed it) the tabloids. Someone out there, likely someone who was interested in giving her some negative publicity while she was invested in a book about her personal life, decided to sling mud and claim that she was having an affair. Of course, she was not happy about it, which led to Teresa’s hair-care line launch party becoming really all about accusations in the direction of anyone and everyone within Teresa’s inner circle … though mostly at Jan.
Was it right for Melissa to suspect Teresa of some shady behavior here? We certainly understand it, given that their history is long and substantial enough to fill multiple books. We’re just not sure if this is something that she would want to risk right when things are starting to get better; regardless, this was probably the sort of thing that producers were hoping for right now to keep the tiniest bit of conflict going between the families (and at least it’s not re-hashing the same thing over and over again).
We do believe that this season is looking up when it comes to quality, but in watching these scenes with Melissa, we wonder to ourselves whether or not there is really going to be some healed wounds at the reunion show … or just another cycle of drama. Time will tell.
Overall, did you sympathize for Melissa at all when watching the episode this week? If you want to read some more news when it comes to the show, and also see some preview videos, be sure to visit the link here.

No, I use to have empathy for Joe & Melissa, but they’re shady. Karma for retaliating against one of their twitter fans in NY for no reason, who tweeted them blessings…. then shortly thereafter, one of Gorgas’ good friends committed suicide. Cursed! Beware who you retaliate against. Justifying evil with evil is disastrous. Now, all kinds of people are attacking Melissa. Ha!
Mmmm…. who’s next? Yolanda Foster? Tamra Barney? Kathy Wakile? Can’t wait! Well, Yolanda’s lime disease didn’t go away after her special IV treatment. And Tamra’s been barraged with hate on the internet and she & Eddie are getting sued, one after the other.
Karma, karma, karma. You can’t f*ck with the Universe – it’s a bitch.
In a world of chaos where good & evil co-exist… goodness is just an illusion.
