ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic featured in first promo

Great news for “Castle” fans: ABC has finally revealed the first promo for the upcoming sixth season of the crime drama. As for the bad news, the promo literally does not give you anything new at all about the show, except for presenting a question that you have been pondering over all summer long: Will Beckett say yes to Castle’s proposal?

One of the reasons why this teaser probably does not show anything about the show is that this is no ordinary year for “Castle” when it comes to the storyline. Almost everything revolves around two decisions that Beckett has to make: Whether she wants to agree to marry Rick, and whether she wants to take the new job in Washington DC that was offered to her.

Regardless of what decisions that she ends up making, there are already a few details out there just when it comes to casting. Lisa Edelstein will play a big role in whether or not she ends up heading to the nation’s capital on a permanent basis, and there are also going to be a variety of new faces decorating the halls of the precinct. With the passage of time comes change, and the show’s early episodes seem especially desperate to show us that (just remember that Alexis also has a new boyfriend). While we have seen the relationship between Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s character evolve, the show is going to be looking to expand outward in some other ways, as well.
