‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Juan Pablo Galavis named as Sean Lowe’s successor

Juan Pablo -There was more than just an engagement announcement to share after everything else that happened on “The Bachelorette” Monday night: Naming the next “Bachelor”!

Judging from the way that the show started off, it was pretty clear that Brooks Forester was out of the running, and given that Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are now together, that also was not that much of possibility. Therefore, in our mind we really only had three names that were in our head as possibilities:

1. Juan Pablo Galavis – He has been linked to the spot for over a week, and he would mark an exciting change when it came to the show. You have to be happy for that.

2. Drew Kenney – He has received a pretty positive edit, and it is clear that the ladies in the audience do love him quite a bit.

3. Jef Holm – A bit of a darkhorse, but Emily Maynard’s ex has seen his name thrown about a lot; but after this finale, we would have assumed that there would be more news in the press about him if he was really going to be the man in charge of passing out roses.

At the end, though, the show actually listened to the viewers and named Juan Pablo the next leading man! He did not have a ton of screen time this year, but he was extremely likable, and he also brings some much-needed diversity to a lead role that has been almost predominantly of a singular demographic. We really like him just for his humor, his sensitivity, and for just bringing something new to the table.
