‘True Blood’ season 6, episode 8 preview: What’s next for Ryan Kwanten?
Last week’s episode of “True Blood” was not exactly a particularly good one for Ryan Kwanten’s character of Jason Stackhouse, and there is one primary reason for that: He was screwed over despite what was at first a “knight in shining armor” sort of gesture. The character first of all went through the trouble to join the LAVTF just so he could break into the vampire prison and get Jessica out, and then was not only forced to see her start to fall for another guy, but then was told to bring the other guy over to her. Devastating. Then, he was thrown to the vampires himself, and told by one that he would basically serve as a blood bag.
Well, we can say based on the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s episode that nothing is going to be getting better for him right away. As a matter of fact, he is probably going to become rather miserable for much of the next couple of weeks.
In this video, Violet basically informs him about what their arrangement is going to be, and that he is hers to do what she pleases with for the rest of the time that they are locked away together. It is unclear just what sort of power she really has over the rest of the vampires that are trapped here, but not even Tara with their history together seems altogether willing to help him out. Personally, we find this part of the equation to be somewhat surprising.
The one silver lining that we have for you now is that thanks to some details on the upcoming finale, we at least know that Jason is going to find a way to survive.
