‘American Horror Story: Coven’ spoilers: Alexandra Breckenridge returns!

The latest news -The more and more news and announcements that we hear about “American Horror Story: Coven,” and the more this entire season starts to feel like the show’s first installment two years ago. Taissa Farmiga and Denis O’Hare were both previously attached to the project, and now we know that Alexandra Breckenridge is, as well.

The news about Breckenridge’s casting was first confirmed in a post on Twitter by executive producer Ryan Murphy, but there were no other details announced. The actress played the more free-spirited alter ego to Frances Conroy’s character of maid Moira on the show’s first season, but then sat out the creepy / supernatural “American Horror Story: Asylum” last year, which featured a number of actors in Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, and Evan Peters who are back again for their third straight year on the show.

We imagine that as an actor, there has to be something incredibly exciting about getting to be a part of this project. You have an opportunity to team up with one of the most prolific showrunners working today, and you also get to work with the same group of people almost ever year. The twist? You are playing a completely new character each sesason, so there is never that sort of feeling as though you are basically being dragged into the same old thing time and time again.

There is no firm premiere date announced just yet for “American Horror Story: Coven,” but based on everything that the series has done in the past, we would anticipate it being back on the air in early or mid-October.
