TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: A progress report and premiere speculation

DallasLet’s start this article about “Dallas” season 3 with what is some of the latest speculation floating around out there on just when you could see some of these characters back on the air. You surely knew already that the show would be back on TNT early next year, but Josh Henderson posted on his Facebook temporarily that the show would air in chunks, with the latter seven episodes coming on TV in the summer. While this makes some sense to us (mostly because having this show compete against major broadcast competition did not work so well in season 2), he has since deleted the post. Therefore, don’t take it as anything more than an idea on the table.

Now, let’s transition into what is happening with production right now! While it may not be much, Brenda Strong offered up the following progress report in a new interview with TV Fanatic:

“The writers are busy sequestered behind closed doors and I would love to be a fly on the wall. I have no idea where we’re going. I have some intonation based on the cliffhangers from last season. We, of course, know that Jordana [Brewster, who plays Elena] has been ostracized and gone to the dark side to bring down some drug lord. But the thing that’s amazing is even when you think you know, you don’t know. Even when you think you know your character inside and out, you’re surprised so I can’t wait to see what’s in store.”

Filming for the show will begin next month, and at that point we will be able to provide a much more substantial look at some of the things that will be coming up.
