Young Hollywood Awards 2013: Where to watch, and who is appearing (Kit Harrington!)
There’s a pretty good chance that you have never heard of the Young Hollywood Awards before. They are put on by the parent company that owns such websites as HollywoodLife and Deadline, and for the majority of their time in existence (which is more than a decade), they have not aired on a major broadcast partner.
However, tonight the show is being broadcast beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on a network that really needs some sort of summer programming save for some new “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” episodes: The CW. There are at least some guests attending that should make some people interested in tuning in, including the likes of Kit Harrington, Tatiana Maslany, AnnaSophia Robb, and Lucy Hale. Now, is Tatiana going to bring some of her clones? We hope so, if for no other reason than that they can destroy the Emmys on a public stage.
One of the other things that we’re curious about here is just how exhausted Harrington is going to be upon arriving at the show. He will be coming straight over from the set of “Game of Thrones,” where production is underway for the show’s fourth season everywhere from Belfast, Northern Ireland to Iceland and Croatia. Hale’s “Pretty Little Liars,” meanwhile, is shooting in Los Angeles, and that is hardly a commute at all. (Maslany shoots “Orphan Black” in Toronto, but production does not begin until next month.)
If there is any big news that transpires when it comes to the awards show, we’ll have it for you here. Meanwhile, click this link if you want to see more of what’s coming at The CW.
