‘The Originals’ spoilers: Joseph Morgan on one major change from ‘Vampire Diaries’

The OriginalsEven though “The Originals” has yet to even air a single episode so far this season, the cast members are already starting to get themselves used to what is going to be one major part of their lives moving forward: Getting accustomed to the fact that they are actually the stars of the show. There is no more hiding behind Nina Dobrev or Ian Somerhalder at the press line; people are coming to see them, and not anyone else.

In a new interview with E! News this week, Joseph Morgan discussed just how this was something that he as an actor now is starting to get used to. He specifically described that often during “The Vampire Diaries” promotional events, he and Daniel Gillies could just dip out and do their own thing while Nina, Ian, and the series anchors took over everything. Now, they along with Charles Michael Davis, Claire Holt, and Phoebe Tonkin, are the engines driving the show and keeping it going.

In addition to this and finding out some more details about the series, Morgan and Davis also describe whether or not Joseph is really British, and some other comical elements that prove that these two already have a great sense of humor and get along just fine. We imagine that this will be extremely important once these guys are 12 hours into a long day shooting overnight, and they need some reminders that they love their job more so than they love sleep.

“The Originals” is now going to premiere, in case you haven’t heard, on Thursday, October 3 following “The Vampire Diaries.” If you want to read about this and some other news related to the show, just be sure to visit the link here.
