For those of you ship Olivia and Fitz hard with “Scandal,” you probably know already that there are a legion of people out there who feel the same way. Just from the past history of CarterMatt comments, they’re one of the most popular ships out there, which is still pretty interesting when you consider that this is basically a torrid affair that may ruin his entire Presidency.

We know already that the truth is out there about Olivia and Fitz being together courtesy of the finale, but who’s the rat? We’re not going to be spoiling that for you. Translation: It’s much better to watch and have your jaw hit the floor when it’s revealed, since it’s probably not Mellie who is behind this.

Instead, what we have for you today is a simple, but rather fun image of Tony Goldwyn in the editing room that was posted by his on-screen love interest Kerry Washington on Instagram, and in our mind serves as yet another slice of proof that these two have a great bond both on set and off. (We would definitely hope so, given the amount of time that they spend together.)

Before the affair leaked, Olivia basically told Fitz to try and work things out with his wife and stay President, with the reason for it being that she did not want to be the one to take away his dream of ruling the country, and it is that power that exists between the two of them that makes them so popular to begin with.
