‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Peter Weller goes after Charlie Hunnam (photo)

Sons of AnarchyJust a mere matter of days after the news was first announced that Peter Weller was going to be stopping by FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” for an important guest role, we now have a first-look photo (which you can see below via The Hollywood Reporter) of the former “RoboCop” star in action.

There are also a few more details about this character now to get a little bit excited about. The name of Weller’s character is Charles Barosky, an ex-cop who not only no longer has an interest in following the letter of the law, but who is also the boss of the Stockton port. This somehow ends up posing a problem for Charlie Hunnam’s Jax Teller, and he is going to do just about everything humanly possibly to intimidate him. Given that Jax has a knack for intimidating himself, this could turn out to be rather interesting and/or violent.

Is Jax in trouble? -

As for how Weller landed this role in the first place, the answer is really remarkably simple: He’s a huge part of the show already. The man has directed multiple “Sons of Anarchy” installments to date, and he’s not the only behind-the-scenes personality to jump in front of the camera to do something more. (Creator Kurt Sutter is very familiar with acting on this show, as he does so as Otto.)

The show recently announced that it will premiere on September 10 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and many of the episodes this year will be extended beyond the normal running time of an hour (including commercials.) Weller joins a heavy roster of guest stars, including the returning Jimmy Smits, who will appear through the year as Nero.

Want more from “Sons of Anarchy” and Humman? We hope so, since we have some comments here for Charlie all about the show finally coming to a close.
