TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: Jordana Brewster on possibility for family warfare

DallasAt this point in the year, “Dallas” scoop is about as hard to come by as finding a family at Southfork that actually gets along. Production does not kick off for over another month, and the writers and showrunners have not been so keen to tease anything just (largely because the scripts are still being written).

But none of this stops anyone from speculating, right? With that in mind, we’ve got at least a few new comments courtesy of series star Jordana Brewster. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress explained that it is possible that we could see Elena really trying to take on the entire Ewing family full-force; if nothing else, she would be certainly down for playing the part and having some fun with it:

“I don’t know much but I do know I hope to follow in that same direction. I think Elena found out that she was betrayed in a massive way, and I think it’s very hard to forget that,” she said. “I think vengeance might be on her mind.”

What makes season 3 at the moment exciting is the prospect of being able to move forward now and focus on some of the soapy drama of it all. Parts of season 2 were understandably forced to deal with some tragic situations like Larry Hagman’s death, but the writers were able to carve a pretty interesting story out of it courtesy of figuring out the real measure of J.R.’s masterpiece; now, John Ross and the rest of the family have some interesting choices to make, and their adversaries simultaneously have a shot to fight back. It should all make for some fun TV, but we’re not going to be seeing too much of it until the show returns early next year.
