‘Nikita’ season 4 spoilers: Maggie Q talks secrets, show ending at Comic-Con

Nikita

It’s always an emotional feeling to attend your last panel at San Diego Comic-Con, but for the cast of “Nikita,” it may be even more emotional than what you see from the average program. This is not a series that wanted to end things by any means with its fourth season; however, it is what The CW has ordained, and they will be receiving six episodes in which to tie together a story that has been over 60 in the making. That alone is not exactly an easy task.

Speaking in front of a massive throng of fans Friday, Maggie Q was optimistic about getting to at least craft an ending for the show, and also the feeling that this would hopefully stick with viewers for years to come:

“We get to end the show with such integrity and with our heads high. I didn’t want it to drag out … I wanted it to go out and have everyone feel full and still a little hungry. Hopefully that’ll happen.”

Filming on season 4 kicks off in Toronto Monday, but there is no word just yet as to when the show is going to premiere. It could be based on The CW’s current plans, and whether or not the rest of their shows on their slate hold or become hits. Sadly, it is probably not going to be a situation where something bombs, and then they order more “Nikita” episodes. Plus, that wouldn’t even be fair to the writers here, who have been working hard to craft the right ending.

What are two specific things that you can expect to see in these final episodes? Be prepared for an even deeper explanation into Nikita’s origins, along with a new lair and a reunion between our leading lady and Shane West’s Michael.
