‘Royal Pains’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Jeremiah returns in ‘Can of Worms’

What is taking place on next week’s all-new “Royal Pains” episode? The first thing that you should know is that Jeremiah will return after a week off. It’s a good thing too, especially when you consider that this week’s installment was probably one of the weaker episodes that USA has thrown at us since the show began so many years ago.

Just from the title alone in “Can of Worms,” you can automatically assume that there are going to be some pretty interesting developments. These are only amplified to a greater degree when you see what the full synopsis is for the hour (per Zap2It):

“Hank worries that a patient is under too much pressure; Jeremiah diagnoses Divya’s neighbor; Hank makes a business decision.”

We do wonder first of all if this “patient” that is being discussed here is none other than the good ol’ police officer, who we have come to root for despite his reluctance to open up to his daughter. As for the Jeremiah plot, we’re happy with anything that manages to bring him closer to Divya. Considering that Ben Shenkman is now a series regular, we don’t even understand the logic behind not having him around this week, except for maybe the argument that there really was not anything for him to do, and they do not want to just force story in there for the character where there really is not any.
