‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ review: Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, and more drama
On Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of Orange County” episode, the ladies were once again in Whistler (with the exception of Heather Dubrow), and somehow, we managed to yet again see a situation where the drama surrounding things that were basically pretty petty played out above all else.
For one, do we still really care that much about whether or not Gretchen Rossi got the “Malibu Country” offer or not? Basically, all we need to know is this: If she didn’t get the role, she just wanted to save face, which is understandable since one of your co-stars is an established actress. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but these ladies managed to blow it up like it is.
Meanwhile, we also continued to have Lauri for whatever reason talking to us about her broken relationship with Vicki Gunvalson, which is hard to really care about anymore given how long it’s been since she was a permanent part of the cast.
What we will say that we appreciate, though, is this: The opportunity to see some of the ladies get away from the drama surrounding each other and just enjoy themselves up north. The snowmobile experience was pretty funny just from the moment they walked in, but nothing will surpass the vodka room. This was a completely absurd moment, but also one that is completely hilarious as Tamra Barney awkwardly decided to recreate the scene from “A Christmas Story.”
So while some of the drama was repetitive tonight, overall a nice night for the “Real Housewives of Orange County” cast, no?
