ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6: See Molly Quinn at Oceanside stop of Course of the Force
Over the past several days, we have written extensively about the famed Course of the Force, a pre-Comic-Con relay taking place across the state of California involving a lightsaber and costumes, with the proceeds from the event going to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Basically, it is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all things geekdom for a great cause, and also work on your running skills to boot.
Now that we have covered all of this, isn’t it time that we talk a little bit about a certain “Castle” star who took part in the event this year? At Oceanside, California, we had an opportunity to see Molly C. Quinn take part in the event while wearing her best Mara Jade get-up. It’s definitely a very solid costume, and the only thing that makes this video below from the Nerdit Channel all the cooler is the fact that there is an R2-D2 model present for the entire interview.
As for how Quinn had time to take part in this, it is all due to the joy of scheduling. She is not needed every day on the “Castle” set to shoot scenes as Rick’s daughter Alexis, and she has some significant Comic-Con clout after being at the convention in San Diego in recent years. She will also be back once again later this week, even though for whatever reason the show will not have a panel for the second straight season. (That’s a shame, since people would come to see Nathan Fillion alone.)
What do you think of this video, and do you always appreciate it when one of the “Castle” cast gets an opportunity to really geek out? If you want to read some more news about what is actually coming up on “Castle” season 6, just be sure to click here.
